Mission

The NYCPM Chapter of ASPS shall promote the mission and purpose of the parent organization ASPS. ASPS will promote the advancement of podiatric surgery through education and research. ASPS will NOT be engaged in matters pertaining to legislative advocacy or politics; however, it will refer the club to the APMA on these matters.

Initiatives

ASPS aims to engage podiatric leadership in advancing the interests of podiatric surgeons, be the industry leader in online services, including CME, video library, and social networking, and offer high quality continuing podiatric medical education programs related to surgery. ASPS also aims to work closely with the ABPS to support and promote certification in podiatric surgery and represent podiatric surgeons on key APMA committees that influence the practice of podiatric physicians and surgeons.
