Student Lecture Series:

NYCPM’s Public Health Club aims to keep the NYCPM student body well informed on public health issues, from patient compliance rates to the impact of the Affordable Care Act.

We have quarterly student presentations of recent publications, with the supervision and direction of Anthony Iorio, DPM, MPH.

Students will have the opportunity to become up to date on the most recent news as put forth by the APHA Public Health Newswire and other reliable public health sources. In addition, students will be engaged in discussion with peers and faculty correlating the items discussed with their personal clinical experiences.

In these student lecture meetings, students are encouraged to pose questions and engage in free discussion. These meetings will typically last 20-30 minutes.
